Job summary

ChristianaCare Health System is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Radiology Care Unit (RCU) and Vascular Access Nursing (VAN) departments, overseeing Newark and Wilmington campuses. The role requires nursing leadership, regulatory compliance, and patient-centered care oversight.

New manager will lead staff across both units, ensure high-quality outcomes, support PI initiatives, and promote autonomous decision making while maintaining cross-campus collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Master's degree in nursing or BSN with Master’s in healthcare or business management.
• Professional certification in a related nursing specialty.
• Nurse Executive certification preferred.
• Five years of leadership experience.
• Current RN licensure in Delaware.
• BLS Certification required.
• Five years of clinical experience in Critical Care or Interventional Procedural Lab area.
• Interventional labs experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff for Radiology Care Unit (RCU) and Vascular Access Nursing (VAN).
• Provide care planning and ensure patient needs are identified and addressed.
• Assure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
• Delegate duties and identify management priorities.
• Develop and maintain methods to ensure patient satisfaction on the unit.
• Perform routine patient rounds to monitor care and teamwork.
• Address risk management issues and corrective actions.
• Lead nursing practice and care delivery in the unit.
• Promote autonomy and independent decision making among staff.
• Support shared decision-making on the unit.
