Health Care For the Homeless Inc. seeks a Fallsway Nurse Manager to oversee Medical Assistants in the Adult Medical Clinic at 421 Fallsway. The role includes day-to-day management, training, scheduling, audits, and performance oversight to ensure safe, efficient clinic operations.

The Nurse Manager provides on-the-ground clinical support, direct patient care in weekly sessions, and collaboration within the interdisciplinary team to improve care for underserved populations.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland.
• BSN required.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Medical Assistants in the Fallsway Adult Medical Clinic; sets expectations, develops schedules, monitors performance and auditing of MA tasks.
• Provides on-the-ground operational and clinical support to MAs and steps in during short staffing to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Performs direct patient care through weekly clinical sessions and collaborates with the multidisciplinary care team.
• Maintains documentation in the electronic health record and supports program changes with the Director of Nursing and Practice Managers.
• Maintains clinical and regulatory standards including infectious disease practices; supports quality improvement activities.
