Ascension Health in Nashville, TN is seeking aRN for the OB Emergency Department and OB High Risk Delivery. This full-time day shift role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, developing policies for efficient patient care, and maintaining quality monitoring for the unit.
You will monitor budgets, strive for high satisfaction among associates, patients, and physicians, and lead staffing, training, and performance evaluations.

Schedule: Full-Time | Days
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within the unit(s). Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s).
Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in the unit(s). Develop and maintain quality monitoring systems for the assigned unit(s).
Monitor and adhere to budget. Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
Ensure a high level of associate, patient and physician satisfaction.
Conduct hiring, training, directing, counseling, development and evaluating of staff.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
One or more of the following:
Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted. Required if working in adult critical care setting.
