Job summary

Ascension in Nashville, TN seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the OB High Risk department. You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and execute physician and nursing orders to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role requires Neonatal Resuscitation certification, ACLS/LDS as applicable, and Tennessee RN licensure (or compact state). Experience in labor and delivery is preferred, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire or transfer date (AHA/ARC accepted).
• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire or transfer date (AHA/ARC accepted).
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification (AAP) within 6 months of hire or transfer date.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed by Tennessee Board of Nursing or valid multi-state (Compact) license prior to hire.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
