Job summary

Gaudenzia, Inc. is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with leadership experience to join our nursing leadership team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care, supervising nursing staff, and coordinating patient care plans.

You will ensure compliance with treatment models, regulations, and documentation standards while mentoring staff and developing quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing for the applicable state.
• Degree from an accredited college or university's professional nursing program.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience.
• At least 1 year treating individuals with substance use, mental health, or related disorders.
• 2 years' experience as a charge nurse or supervisory experience (may substitute BSN/MSN for years).

Responsibilities

• Ensures adherence to Gaudenzia's treatment model, policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with medication handling and administration policies and regulations.
• Develops, maintains, and ensures the quality of counseling and education of clients on addiction concepts and related topics.
• Promotes and assists in medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
• Oversees medical documentation/EHR usage.
• Provide leadership to nursing staff and foster a collaborative environment.
• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff performance and provide training.
• Mentor staff through continuing education opportunities.
• Recruit, train, and maintain quality staff.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor patient care activities to ensure high-quality care.
• Collaborate with providers to develop patient care plans.
• Manage staffing schedules for coverage and resource use.
• Oversee equipment, supplies, and medications procurement and maintenance.
• Participate in budget planning and management for the nursing department.
