You will recruit and develop staff, implement policies, monitor performance, and foster professional development and collaboration with the nursing team and administrators.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• 3 years acute care experience.
• 2 years leadership/management potential in similar unit.
• Effective communication and partnership with patients and families.
• Knowledge of patient-centered care and cultural awareness.
• Care coordination across departments and services.
• Patient safety and risk management awareness.
• Medication administration and discharge planning knowledge.
• Assessment/diagnosis and health information documentation.
• RN license in Pennsylvania (PA).
• BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, direct and coordinate nursing care for a defined patient population with the Nursing Director.
• Recruit, interview and select staff; provide leadership and policy implementation.
• Develop and evaluate unit policies and goals aligned with organizational aims.
• Perform regular staff evaluations and serve as clinical resource on procedures.
• Develop staffing plans, monitor schedules and manage budgetary resources.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in shared governance.
