Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required within 3 years of hire or transfer.
• 1 year of demonstrated clinical leadership experience.
• Current State of PA RN licensure OR current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Preferred: Master's Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: National Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations of a patient care department under the Nurse Manager guidance.
• Model mission, vision, and values in daily practice and staff interactions.
• Conduct monthly unit conferences with minutes and report on unit and organizational goals.
• Perform annual performance appraisals and coordinate professional development plans.
• Promote shared governance and staff engagement; support change initiatives and certifications.
• Ensure care quality and patient safety through evidence-based practices and regulatory readiness.
• Collaborate with the nurse manager on quality plans and performance improvements.
• Monitor finances and resources to maintain budget and staffing efficiency.
