Job summary

Lahey Medical Center in Peabody, MA, is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead ambulatory surgery, PACU and endoscopy services. This full-time role oversees daily clinical operations, staff development and compliance to deliver high-quality outpatient care.

Reporting to the CNO/ACNO and Nursing Directors, you will drive practice standards, coordinate across departments, manage performance and budget, and foster professional growth while maintaining Massachusetts RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved or accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Masters degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Current licensure to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts.
• Life Support Certification: BLS Certification with the American Heart Association.
• Experience: a minimum of five years of accumulated in-patient nursing experience and two years leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and assures compliance with Nursing Practice Guidelines.
• Encourages staff participation on Shared Governance Councils, nursing committees, and organization committees.
• Maintains and displays knowledge of current professional/clinical issues and uses evidence based resources.
• Collaborates with leadership to provide opportunities for staff development.
• Participation in nursing research and professional organizations.
• Oversees and coordinates day-to-day operations and plan of care.
• Manages staffing, budgets and performance appraisals.
