Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a Nurse Manager for 2 West Medical Telemetry and Dialysis. You will oversee daily operations, staffing, and patient care quality.

Requires BSN, Kentucky RN licensure, 3 years of experience, and BLS within 90 days. Preferred MSN and 5+ years of leadership experience. Benefits are included.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted RN licensure in Kentucky.
• Minimum of three years of nursing leadership/related experience.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Manage daily operations of the 2 West Medical Telemetry and Dialysis department.

Summary

Job Description:

Nurse Manager - 2 West Medical Telemetry and Dialysis

Manages the daily operations of the department(s). Responsibilities include:

• Management of resources, process improvement activities, staffing and scheduling, and assuring delivery of safe, effective, timely patient care in areas of responsibility.
• Monitors financial performance of department(s) and assures expenses and productivity align with workload and meets fiscal targets.
• Leads departmental activities and monitors care provided to comply with quality and customer service goals.
• Assure good two-way communication with staff.
• Lead/participate in multidisciplinary and interdepartmental initiatives to improve care, services, and efficiencies.
• May need to assist with patient care on nursing unit.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
• Requires three years of job-related experience.
• BLS from American Heart Association (AHA) required within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from an accredited institution.
• Five or more years of experience as leader in designated area preferred.
• Recent experience and/or certification in specialty preferred.
