Job summary

Capitol Hill Healthcare in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager for our Skilled Nursing Facility to oversee nursing care delivery, manage staff, and ensure high-quality resident care.

You will lead the nursing team (RNs, LPNs, CNAs), coordinate care plans with the interdisciplinary team, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to promote resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
• BSN degree preferred; ADN with relevant experience may be considered.
• Supervisory or leadership experience in healthcare, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care.
• Strong clinical knowledge in assessment, care planning, and documentation.
• Knowledge of state and federal nursing home regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing leadership to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs and set performance expectations.
• Develop and review individualized care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Recruit, hire, orient, and evaluate nursing staff; provide coaching and development.
• Monitor compliance with regulations; conduct audits and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee resident assessments, health changes, and care plan adjustments.
• Educate staff and disseminate best practices in nursing care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals for resident outcomes.
• Oversee medication administration processes and safety.
• Manage resources and control costs while maintaining care quality.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
