Job summary

UHS is seeking a Registered Nurse to manage patients admitted or seen for medical conditions or surgical procedures. The RN provides leadership, assesses, plans, and evaluates nursing care according to facility standards and philosophy, and coordinates with the healthcare team.

The role requires interaction with hospital staff and other departments, with weekend/holiday/evening/night/on-call work as needed.

Qualifications

• Texas RN license or compact licensure; BSN preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS as unit needs; maintain current certifications.
• 1+ year acute care experience; flexible for weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership and support to the nursing team.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care per policy.
• Oversee nursing staff and coordinate with hospital departments.
• Availability for weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, and on-call.
