Job summary

UHS is seeking a Registered Nurse to manage care for patients with various medical and surgical needs in a fast-paced environment. You will provide safe and competent nursing care, lead a healthcare team, and collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, adhering to policies, and meeting on-call expectations as needed in a hospital setting. A Texas RN license and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an RN in Texas.
• BSN preferred.
• Must maintain BLS certification.
• Must have current ARC/AHA certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients admitted or seen for medical or surgical conditions.
• Provide safe, competent nursing care per policy and standards.
• Offer professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversee nursing staff under supervision.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and departments for patient care.
• May work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, and/or on-call.
• Uphold Service Excellence standards at all times.
