Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, based in Seattle, is seeking a Nurse Manager for Diagnostic Imaging, PFT, and the Procedure Suite to lead daily nursing operations and ensure high-quality patient care. This role collaborates with the Clinical Director and interdisciplinary teams to uphold standards and drive staff engagement.
The position requires 3–5 years of clinical nursing and 2 years in healthcare leadership, with RN licensure in WA or valid multi-state license.
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience.
- 2 years in healthcare leadership.
- Washington State RN license or multistate license (MSL) with WA residency within 60 days of hire.
Responsabilidades
- Manage daily nursing operations across Diagnostic Imaging, PFT, and the Procedure Suite (GI, IR, Interventional Pulmonary).
- Ensure delivery of safe, patient-centered nursing care per evidence-based practice and standards.
- Operationalize nursing policies, procedures, and standards set by the Clinical Director.
- Serve as an on-site clinical and operational resource for staff and interdisciplinary partners.
- Ensure nursing competency, orientation, annual skills validation, and continuing education for staff.
- Ensure department is staffed appropriately.
- Supervise staff including hiring, performance evaluations, training and development, disciplinary action, layoffs/terminations.
- Provide teaching, coaching and consultation on clinical issues for nursing staff.
