Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle, WA is seeking a Nurse Manager for Diagnostic Imaging, PFT, and the Procedure Suite. You will lead daily nursing operations, ensure safe patient-centered care, and partner with Clinical Director and interdisciplinary teams to implement standards of practice and support staff development.

The role requires RN licensure in WA, 3–5 years clinical nursing plus 2 years healthcare leadership, and current BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
3–5 years of clinical nursing experience.
2 years in healthcare leadership.
WA RN license or current multistate license (MSL) with WA as Primary State of Residence within 60 days of hire.
Current BLS Health Provider Card
Current ACLS Health Provider Card
Strong frontline nursing leadership and clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

Manage daily nursing operations across Diagnostic Imaging, PFT, and Procedure Suite.
Ensure safe, patient-centered nursing care aligned with standards.
Operationalize nursing policies and standards set by Clinical Director.
Serve as on-site clinical/operational resource for staff and partners.
Ensure staff competency, orientation, and continuing education for diagnostic/procedural services.
Ensure department is appropriately staffed and supervised.
Oversee hiring, evaluations, training, and disciplinary actions.
Provide teaching, coaching, and consultation on clinical issues.
