Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle, WA is seeking an Imaging & Procedures Business Operations Manager to serve as a key financial and business partner for Diagnostic Imaging and Procedures. The role manages budgets, contracts, capital planning, and business analyses while partnering with clinical, operational, and physician leaders to ensure fiscal stewardship and sustainable growth.

This full-time onsite position supports leadership through financial education and develops planning tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare financial operations, budgeting, and business planning.
• Experience with contracts, SOWs, TPAs, vendor management, and PO processes.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and present insights clearly.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to partner effectively with clinical, operational, physician, research, revenue cycle and finance leaders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial and business support for Diagnostic Imaging and Procedures, including budgeting, variance analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting with leaders.
• Manage contracts and purchasing activities (SOWs, TPAs, vendor contracts, POs) with policies in mind.
• Oversee capital planning and management, including requests, justifications, prioritization and post-implementation review.
• Develop proformas and light business plans for new services, staffing, equipment and changes.
• Support provider staffing, FTE, and resource planning with financial modeling.
• Design and maintain financial/operational planning tools across Imaging and Procedures.
• Provide financial education and consultative support to leaders to improve literacy and accountability.
• Support vendor negotiations and grant activities, including budgeting and reporting for external funding.
