Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Nurse Manager for Diagnostic & Procedural Services to lead daily nursing operations in Diagnostic Imaging, PFT, and the Procedure Suite. You will ensure safe, evidence-based patient care and partner with Clinical Directors and interdisciplinary teams to drive standards and staff engagement.

The role requires 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, 2 years of leadership, WA RN license, and current BLS/ACLS, with a 1.0 FTE work commitment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience.
• 2 years in healthcare leadership.
• WA RN license or multistate license (MSL) with waiver window.
• Current BLS and ACLS provider cards.
• Frontline nursing leadership and clinical judgment.
• Operational problem-solving and prioritization.

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily nursing operations across Diagnostic Imaging nursing areas, PFT, and the Procedure Suite (GI, IR, and Interventional Pulmonary).
• Ensure delivery of safe, patient-centered nursing care consistent with evidence-based practice and organizational standards.
• Operationalize nursing policies, procedures, and standards established by the Clinical Director.
• Serve as an on-site clinical and operational resource for staff and interdisciplinary partners.
• Ensure nursing competency, orientation, annual skills validation, and continuing education for staff supporting diagnostic and procedural services.
• Ensure department is staffed appropriately
• Supervision of staff to include hiring, performance evaluations, training and development, handling disciplinary action, layoff and termination issues.
• Provides teaching, coaching and consultation on clinical issues for professional nursing staff.
