Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a registered nurse to direct and provide professional care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, coordinating daily clinical and operational components of the unit.

Responsibilities include overseeing quality data and patient satisfaction measures, acting as a clinical expert and role model for staff, applying the nursing process and ensuring appropriate staffing levels and readiness for daily operations, with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred
• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via the eNLC
• 3 years of clinical experience; supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversees, monitors and collects data related to quality and satisfaction measures.
• Serves as the clinical expert and role model for staff; may perform supervisory duties.
• Demonstrates leadership through effective communication and relationships to achieve outcomes.
• Utilizes the nursing process to plan and coordinate patient care for the age-appropriate population.
• Assures appropriate staffing levels and staffing mix to optimize unit operations; performs other duties as assigned
