Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Manager-Assistant Nurse (ANM). The ANM is a key member of the Nursing Leadership Team, responsible for removing barriers across departments, guiding professional nursing staff, and contributing to budget objectives and capital planning.

The ANM collaborates with nurse managers, educators and clinical specialists to direct patient care, staffing, and to maintain regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Georgia
• National certification in a clinical or leadership specialty within 2 years of hire
• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• BSN must be started within 6 months and completed within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of patient care team on the unit and monitor quality of care.
• Support customer-centric service, conduct daily rounds, address concerns of patients/families/physicians.
• Coach and evaluate staff; ensure competency, licensure, certifications and annual training.
