You will assist with patient transport, documentation, and adherence to safety and privacy standards, contributing to high-quality patient care in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Nursing student currently enrolled in a nursing program at a college or university.
• Successful completion of fundamentals nursing course.
• Proof of continued enrollment in a pre-licensure, professional nursing program with no break in enrollment to exceed one year.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care under RN guidance (hygiene, mobility, nutrition, observation).
• Transports and delivers items, equipment, blood products and medications (excluding substances and IV chemotherapy drugs).
• Assists patients with hygiene, mobility, and nutritional needs.
• Maintains safety and privacy of patients and staff.
• Participates in handoff and maintains standard documentation according to policies.

Fundamentals of nursing course completed

Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
