Job summary

Orlando Health Melbourne Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care under LPN/RN supervision. You will assist with hygiene, mobility, meals, and daily activities in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will ensure safety, privacy, and accurate documentation, collaborate with nurses and other staff, and participate in rounds across shifts to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients and families.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• CNA certification or Nursing Assistant program.
• 1 year healthcare experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with hygiene, mobility, hydration, and nutrition.
• Provide routine treatments and maintain a clean, safe patient area.
• Maintain patient privacy, rights, and confidentiality.
• Transports items and medications across the facility as needed.
• Participate in rounds and document patient information accurately.
