Job summary

Ross Education in Grand Rapids is seeking an MSN-educated nursing leader to serve as Associate Director of Nursing and lead the Grand Rapids campus. This full-time program leadership role reports to the Dean of Nursing and is part of the Nursing Program Leadership Team.

You will maintain curriculum components, provide a best-in-class learning environment, and guide faculty in delivering high-quality didactic and clinical instruction.

Qualifications

  • MSN degree and prior classroom teaching experience.
  • Current Michigan RN license.
  • Five+ years nursing practice as an RN.
  • Two+ years didactic teaching in the classroom.
  • Daytime on-campus availability.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee curriculum components and ensure an optimum learning environment.
  • Provide training to faculty, staff, and students on clinicals and standards.
  • Lead activities related to program leadership and nursing education.
  • Manage human resources aspects for assigned staff, including interviewing and performance reviews.
  • Ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance for class, lab, and clinical experiences.

We are recruiting an MSN with prior teaching experience to lead our Grand Rapids school as the Associate Director of Nursing. This is a full‑time position reporting to the Dean of Nursing and is a member of the Nursing Program Leadership Team. The Associate Director of Nursing is responsible for maintaining the components related to the aspects of the curriculum and providing an optimum learning environment. Are you ready to change lives? KEY Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of nursing skills; lab equipment, teaching and instruction methods and practices; record keeping procedures
  • Provide training to faculty, staff, and students pertaining to clinicals
  • Develop relationships with current students to be able to assist them with questions and educational needs.
  • Perform human resources management for assigned staff, including interviewing, hiring, development, review, performance correction, attendance, time off, and possibly termination
  • Maintain health and safety precautions for faculty, staff, and students
  • Ensure all OBN regulations related to the class, lab and clinical experience are adhered to by faculty This is a full time, daytime Monday-Friday job with a regular schedule and benefits. This job is performed daily on campus and may require travel to clinical locations. This position is an administrative role with occasional teaching components.
