Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. in Worthington, OH, invites MSN or higher RN instructors to join as full-time, salaried Nursing Instructor. The campus emphasizes small class sizes and hands-on teaching, with day shifts and classroom-based roles.

You will teach the Ross curriculum, prepare lessons, grade and record assignments, support externship activities, and help maintain high student retention. Ohio RN licensure and teaching ability are required; prior teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved registered nursing education program with MSN or higher.
• Ability to teach in a classroom setting and present material clearly.
• Two or more years of direct patient care as a registered nurse.
• Current, valid Ohio RN license and adherence to professional ethics.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in the Ross curriculum and prepare for class sessions.
• Review lesson plans and grade/record assignments in the campus management system.
• Actively promote student retention and support externship activities as applicable.
• Perform related duties to ensure a high-quality nursing education experience.

We hire MSN Registered Nurses interested in sharing their medical nursing expertise with the next generation in the classroom.

Our smaller class sizes mean you get more 1:1 time with students and make real classroom connections.

You will instruct students in the Ross curriculum, review lesson plans and prepare for class instruction, grade and electronically record assignments, actively promote student retention, support externship activities as applicable, and perform related work as required. Nursing faculty Primary Instructors accurately record grades, successful completion of proficiencies and attendance by entering information in campus management software.

Nursing Instructor Full TimeRequirements for an Instructor:

• Completion of an approved registered nursing education program, MSN or higher
• Must be able to teach in the classroom
• Two or more years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse providing direct patient care
• Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio
• Adhere to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics
• Ability to communicate effectively in classroom and individual settings
• Knowledge of materials (subjects) that will be taught to students and ability to use and communicate Ross curriculum
• Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced work environment
• Sufficient ability to move around the building and classroom to satisfy student needs and/or facilitate student participation.
