Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a part-time BSN-trained Registered Nurse to serve as Clinical Nursing Instructor. Learn-and-teach at campus and on-site clinicals, typically 2–3 days weekly, Monday through Friday, with winter start and month-to-month scheduling.

You will review lesson plans, instruct students, grade assignments, and use campus management systems to record progress. Strong mentoring and classroom communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an approved registered nursing education program, BSN or higher.
  • Two or more years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
  • Experience with precepting preferred.
  • Daytime availability and ability to teach at campus and off-site clinicals.
  • Knowledge of Ross curriculum and ability to use campus management software.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct students in the Ross curriculum, review lesson plans and prepare for class instruction.
  • Grade and electronically record assignments, monitor student achievement and attendance.
  • Support externship activities as applicable and assist with policy compliance.
