Ross Education Holdings, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a MSN/RN Lecture Nursing Instructor to join our campus team.

This full-time, salaried role runs Monday through Friday days, teaching within the Ross curriculum, preparing lessons, grading, and recording progress in the campus management system. Ideal candidates hold MSN or higher, have RN license in Michigan, and at least two years of direct patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved registered nursing education program, MSN or higher.
• Must be able to teach in the classroom.
• Two or more years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse.
• Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in Michigan.
• Adhere to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics.
• Ability to communicate effectively in classroom and individual settings.
• Knowledge of materials (subjects) that will be taught to students and ability to use and communicate Ross curriculum.
• Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced work environment.
• Daytime availability.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in the Ross curriculum, review lesson plans and prepare for class instruction, grade and electronically record assignments, actively promote student retention, support externship activities as applicable, and perform related work as required.
• Nursing faculty Primary Instructors accurately record grades, successful completion of proficiencies and attendance by entering information in campus management software.
