Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. seeks a full-time RN Lecture Nursing Instructor for the Grand Rapids campus. The role is a day shift, Monday–Friday, with a winter start, and involves classroom instruction, grade entry, and supporting externships.

Requirements include a completed RN education program (BSN or higher), MI licensure, and at least two years of direct patient care. Teaching ability and effective communication in a classroom setting are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved registered nursing education program, BSN or higher.
• Must be able to teach in the classroom.
• Two or more years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
• Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in Michigan.
• Ability to communicate effectively in classroom and individual settings.
• Knowledge of materials (subjects) that will be taught to students and ability to use and communicate Ross curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in the Ross curriculum, review lesson plans and prepare for class instruction.
• Grade and electronically record assignments, and actively promote student retention.
• Support externship activities as applicable and perform related work as required.
• Accurately record grades, completion of proficiencies and attendance in campus management software.
