Job summary

Unitek College of Nursing is seeking a full-time Vocational Nursing Instructor to teach in classroom, lab and clinical settings in Fremont, CA. The role offers a competitive salary with a 10% differential for evening/weekend shifts and off-site clinicals.

The ideal candidate holds an RN or LVN license in the relevant state, plus 3 years bedside experience with a Bachelor's degree or 6 years with an Associate's.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LVN license in the state of teaching.
• 3+ years bedside experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years with an Associate’s.
• Able to meet nursing education faculty requirements per VN board.
• Experience demonstrating nursing knowledge, patient care, and clinical teaching ability.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in classroom, labs and clinicals.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades and skill check-offs.
• Review and revise course syllabi as needed.
• Submit program reports to the Director on time.
• Stay updated with nursing practice and safety regulations.
