Job summary
Las Palmas Medical Center is seeking a Coordinator of Clinical Applications to lead training, support, and refinement of advanced clinical tools and CPOE initiatives across the facility. Qualifications
- RN license required to practice in Texas.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3 years experience in clinical applications or related IT role.
- Proficiency with Meditech and hospital information systems.
- Strong communication with clinical and IT teams.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate implementation and support of division-wide clinical applications and CPOE initiatives.
- Develop and support education plans and resources for clinical initiatives.
- Lead projects related to CPOE and advanced clinical system functions.
- Resolve complex issues escalated from service desks or facilities teams.
- Review evidence-based order sets and build within the facility.
- Monitor usage reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
