Job Summary:
The Coordinator of Clinical Applications is responsible for ensuring ongoing training, support and refinement of the Advanced Clinicals and Meaningful Use initiative as well as additional support for clinical applications throughout the facility. This individual participates in the company-wide community for CPOE, changes and works with their facility peers to ensure advanced clinical applications are well supported throughout the facility.
Primary responsibilities include the following: 1) Implementation and support of division-wide standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization activities related to CPOE and other clinical applications and tools. 2) Development, execution, and support of education plan, tools and resources focused on the CPOE clinical initiative, Meaningful Use and additional clinical applications as developed and implemented. 3) Facilitation and project leadership of the CPOE and advanced clinical system functions implementation. 4) Resolution of complex issues and requests escalated from the division Service Desk or other division or facility service resources. 5) Evidence Based Order set review, approval, and build within the facility. 6) Ongoing monitoring of various advanced clinicals usage trend reports. Identify gaps/areas of opportunity and develop action plan to address areas of concern.
The ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the practice, as well as with vendors and other outside agents. Must have an interdisciplinary focus

Texas RN License (RN) Registered Nurse
Bachelors Degree preferred
