Hondros College of Nursing in Columbus, OH seeks a Nurse Faculty for NCLEX to instruct students in courses, labs, and clinicals per course plan. You will develop ancillary NCLEX materials and support HESI data analysis to identify at-risk students.

You’ll contribute to curriculum planning, participate in Faculty Organization, and support program outcomes. The role requires a Master’s in Nursing (PhD preferred), an OH RN license, and 5 years nursing practice with 3 years teaching in a nursing

Formación

• Master’s degree in nursing required; PhD preferred
• Active OH RN license in good standing
• Five years of nursing practice as a registered nurse
• Three years of teaching experience in a nursing program
• Experience in an NCLEX support role or NCLEX-focused course design preferred

Responsabilidades

• Instructs nursing students in assigned courses, on-campus labs and/or clinicals according to the course plan
• Collaborates with College faculty to ensure curriculum implementation
• Reviews class syllabi and explains course requirements
• Designs and implements teaching strategies to meet course objectives
• Participates in course faculty meetings across campuses for consistency
• Directs and mentors clinical faculty and teaching assistants
• Tracks attendance and student performance and records in the appropriate systems
• Acts as program advocate and contributes to program improvement studies

Three years teaching experience

NCLEX support experience

Educación

Master’s Degree in Nursing

PhD in Nursing or higher education preferred

Completion of an approved registered nursing program
