Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in field of study
• 3 years experience as a registered nurse
• Active OH RN license that has never been encumbered
• Self-motivated, flexible and able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with students, leadership, peers and community partners
• Excellent written communication and strong verbal communication skills
• Must provide professional licenses and certifications for clinical compliance in the state of teaching
• Must adhere to faculty immunization policy and provide documentation

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in courses aligned with qualifications and areas of expertise, as assigned by the school
• Ensure all instructional activities, required contact hours, and delivery responsibilities meet policies, standards, and program requirements
• Maintain weekly office hours to support student learning and address questions
• Demonstrate consistent instructional presence based on modality and policy
• Support student learning outcomes through curriculum implementation, assessment, and continuous improvement for accreditation standards
• Accountable to NCLEX preparation throughout the program
• Full-time faculty are expected to teach a full workload
• Participate in quarterly professional development and campus meetings as designated by the Dean
• Attend campus events and committees as designated by the Dean
• Other duties as assigned
