Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing in West Chester, OH seeks a Clinical Instructor to implement the clinical component of the Nursing Program. The instructor will supervise student practice, provide guidance, evaluate performance, and ensure program outcomes in line with Board of Nursing standards.

The role requires teaching experience, OH RN licensure, and the ability to work collaboratively with faculty across modalities while supporting accreditation requirements and NCLEX readiness.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience preferred (minimum 3 years in field)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required
• Active OH RN licensure in good standing
• Ability to work in a team with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated professional licenses/certifications for clinical compliance

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in courses aligned with qualifications and expertise
• Ensure all instructional activities and contact hours meet accreditation and school policies
• Maintain weekly office hours to support student learning and address questions
• Demonstrate consistent instructional presence across modalities (lab, simulation, clinical)
• Support student learning outcomes and NCLEX preparation throughout the program
• Full-time faculty are expected to teach a full workload
• Participate in professional development and campus meetings as directed by the Dean
