Job summary

TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Nurse Extern PRN. Under RN supervision, you will provide basic patient care, assist with daily living activities, and support the patient care team in a clean and safe environment.

You must be enrolled in an accredited RN program and obtain BLS certification. The role expects you to communicate effectively, participate in patient care documentation, and adapt to a fast-paced clinical setting while upholding patient rights

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited RN nursing program.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge to provide appropriate care for patient populations.
• Communicate pertinent information to appropriate individuals.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting patient rights and dignity.
• Document patient care information in the appropriate computer screens.
• Assist with ADLs for assigned patients.
