HCA HealthONE Rose is seeking a Nurse Extern PRN Float Pool to join our nursing team. You’ll gain hands-on experience exploring the Registered Nurse role while delivering compassionate, safe care and building confidence through your nursing program.

Your responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, vital signs, mobility, wound care, documentation, and family guidance, under supervision. This role emphasizes growth and clinical development in a Magnet-designated setting.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs, vital signs, mobility, hygiene, and comfort.
• Perform basic nursing tasks and wound/catheter care as competency grows.
• Document care accurately and communicate timely with the nursing team.
• Explain care plans to patients and families and provide health guidance.
• Maintain clean, safe patient areas following infection prevention practices.
• Engage in growth opportunities with supervision to build career development.
