Job summary

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Nurse Extern PRN Float to join our team. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of an RN and help maintain a clean, safe patient care environment.

The role requires enrollment in an accredited RN program, current BLS, and the ability to perform delegated nursing tasks and ADL support. This PRN opportunity provides hands-on exposure across units and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited RN nursing program.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification current.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 30 days of start date.
• Ability to assist with ADL and basic patient care under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care for patient populations served in the department.
• Communicate pertinent information to appropriate individuals.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting patient rights and dignity.
• Document patient care information in the appropriate computer screens.
• Assist with ADL’s for assigned patients.
