Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, CO seeks a nursing student who has completed at least one medical/surgical rotation and is awaiting licensure. The position supports transition into a new graduate nurse resident role after licensure and works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities include responding to call lights, assisting with hygiene and nourishment, taking vital signs, documenting care, and aiding in patient transfers and admissions.

Formación

• Student in good standing in an accredited School of Nursing program with at least one medical/surgical rotation.
• BLS-HCP certification at hire or within 60 days with approval.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to patient care needs by answering call lights and assisting with hygiene and nourishment.
• Obtain vital signs, document care, and communicate with the care team under RN supervision.
• Assist with Foley catheter and NG tube care; support transfers, admissions, and discharges.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and treatments as directed.
