Job summary

Intermountain Health Utah Valley Hospital is seeking a Nursing Graduate who will work under the direct supervision of an RN in a clinical setting, participating in patient care under supervision and preparing for RN licensure through the Intermountain Nurse Residency program. This 12-week residency leads toward board eligibility; after completion or failure of boards, transition to open roles.

Schedule is NIGHT shift (3x12 hours) with every other weekend and holiday rotation, with a pathway to

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited RN education program; education will be verified.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers

Responsibilities

• Under direct RN supervision, participate in nursing process and plan of care.
• Collect patient data and report significant changes under RN supervision.
• Assist with prioritization and development of the interdisciplinary plan of care.
• Observe and contribute to the implementation of the patient plan of care considering patient-specific needs.
• Report patient responses to treatments and collaborate with the RN on changes.
• Participate in patient/family education under RN supervision.
• Maintain accountability for patient care delivery under RN supervision.
• Comply with legal/ethical standards while Nursing Resident; maintain confidentiality.
• Progress toward RN licensure and completion of Nurse Residency program.
