Job summary

Intermountain Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Graduate who will work under the direct supervision of an RN to participate in patient care delivery within the Endoscopy department. The role supports the nurse residency program and prepares for RN licensure, with entry pay figures for new grads and licensed RN tracks.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with four 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, and on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an RN education program; education will be verified.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of an RN, follow the nursing process to develop, implement, and revise the plan of care.
• Collect patient data (e.g., vital signs) under the RN supervision and document accurately.
• Assist in prioritizing patient needs and support interdisciplinary care planning during shifts.
• Observe and participate in the implementation of the care plan, considering patient-specific needs.
• Report patient responses and collaborate with the RN to adjust nursing interventions.
• Participate in patient and family education under RN supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with regulatory standards in care delivery.
• Work toward RN licensure through the Nurse Residency program and complete required orientation.
