SSM Health DePaul Hospital - St. Louis invites enthusiastic nursing students to join as a Student Nurse Extern. This PRN role offers hands-on clinical experience under a licensed RN, within the Stepdown department, to apply classroom knowledge in real patient care settings.

Under supervision, you will assist with basic nursing care, monitor patients, and learn through a structured preceptor program that supports your transition into an RN role after graduation.

Qualifications

• No experience required

Responsabilités

• Completes patient care tasks under direction of RN.
• Assists with activities of daily living and vital signs.
• Documents patient information and communicates with the care team.
• Supports patient comfort and safety under supervision.

Formation

Current enrollment in an accredited school of nursing and completion of first clinical rotation, or no more than 90-days post conferral date
