Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state compact and/or single-state privileges in the state(s) of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience; 2 years preferred.
• Must adhere to ANA Code of Ethics and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities within the service area as needed.
