Job summary

Virtua Health in New Jersey is seeking a Masters prepared RN to lead Clinical Orientation and Nurse Residency sessions. You will work with a team of 3–5 Professional Development Specialists across multiple locations, focusing on clinical outcomes and education.

This part-time, on-site role requires 2–5 years of clinical experience in a specialty, certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS), and eligibility for Advanced Practice License in New Jersey. Hours are day shift with no weekends.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years recent clinical experience in specialty area is required, preferably at advanced level.
• Masters prepared registered nurse or near completion of advanced degree.
• Certification in BLS; ACLS and PALS as appropriate; APRN licensure eligibility in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Lead Clinical Orientation and Nurse Residency Program sessions with a team of 3-5 PD Specialists.
• Coordinate across multiple locations and ensure adherence to standardized care practices.
• Discharge education and discharge planning collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Promote evidence-based education and continuous improvement in clinical care.
