Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Masters-prepared RN to lead clinical orientation and nurse residency programs, working across hospital divisions to educate staff and improve patient outcomes.

You will coordinate with a team of Professional Development Specialists, oversee education plans, and ensure adherence to evidence-based care while supporting discharge processes. This is a part-time, on-site per diem role in New Jersey.

Qualifications

Masters-prepared RN with 3+ years of clinical experience.
BLS; ACLS; NALS; PALS certs as required by specialty areas.
Eligible for Advanced Practice License in New Jersey.
Strong education, leadership and team coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Run Clinical Orientation and Nurse Residency sessions.
Collaborate with a team of 3-5 Professional Development Specialists.
Coordinate interdisciplinary care and staff education.
Direct discharge education and ensure timeliness.
Implement standardized care approaches and policy updates.
Develop preceptors and the learning environment.
