Job summary

Virtua Health seeks a Masters prepared RN to lead Clinical Orientation and the Nurse Residency Program, coordinating a team of Professional Development Specialists. Focus is on improving clinical outcomes through staff education and interdisciplinary coordination of care.

Responsibilities include discharge education, standardized care approaches, and implementing evidence-based practices across the system. Requires NJ Advanced Practice eligibility and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Masters prepared RN or near completion of advanced degree.
• 3+ years of clinical experience, preferably at advanced level.
• Certification in BLS; ACLS for critical care and related areas; NALS/PALS where applicable.
• Eligible for or holding Advanced Practice License in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Run Clinical Orientation and Nurse Residency Program sessions.
• Collaborate with a team of 3-5 Professional Development Specialists.
• Interpret data to improve clinical quality and patient outcomes.
• Direct discharge planning and patient education for timely disposition.
