The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher, possesses an active RN license, and brings at least three years of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state required.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing courses being taught.
• Proven knowledge contributing to student learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students, as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters students' academic growth and professional development.
• Deliver effective instruction appropriate to the educational level and needs of LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program philosophy and standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance records and progress reports.
