Job summary

SGMC Health is seeking a Nurse Educator to design and deliver educational programs across orientations, continuing education, and in-services for staff development. You will apply adult learning principles in a healthcare setting and work with nursing leadership to drive educational standards.

The role requires a Georgia RN license, a BSN with 3+ years in the specialty, and ACLS/PALS/NRP/STABLE certifications or ability to obtain them.

Qualifications

• RN license in Georgia required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing with at least 3 years of experience in the specialty.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, or STABLE certifications or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles with teaching experience in healthcare.
• Flexible in work schedule and workload management.
• Strong prioritization and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to assess learning needs of healthcare personnel.
• Ability to conduct and plan educational programs.

Responsibilities

• Designs, organizes, implements, and evaluates educational programs (orientations, continuing education, and in-services) for staff development.
• Collaborates with directors and administrators across SGMC Health's departments to meet education goals.
