Job summary

Northside Hospital, Inc. seeks a Nurse Educator to coordinate education and training programs across clinical staff, promoting high standards of patient care and professional growth.

This role requires a Georgia RN license, a BSN or higher, BLS certification, and at least two years of RN experience. It also involves leading quality improvement efforts, supporting accreditation activities, and mentoring staff; ACLS/PALS are preferred. Hours are 8A-4P and work is on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing or related field.
• Licensed RN in Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Visual color acuity depending on role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and implementation of education and training programs for clinical staff.
• Serve as a role model of excellence in nursing knowledge and clinical practice.
• Administer staff development programs through needs assessment and implementation.
• Maintain unit-specific quality, accreditation, and clinical competency programs.
