Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience implementing policy-driven practices; LTC experience is a plus.
• Experience in patient, family and/or staff education is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates clinical competency assessment and training needs of clinical staff based on evaluation and patient needs.
• Provides education on topics to develop clinical skills, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Participates in interview and selection of clinical staff.
• Performs initial competency assessments during orientation and ongoing updates.
• Oversees preceptor program and trains staff to ensure policy compliance.
• Maintains documentation of partner education per regulations.
