PruittHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse Educator to lead clinical education, competency assessments, and staff development across units. This role emphasizes patient safety, evidence-based teaching, and program administration within a post-acute care setting.

The RN Educator will partner with DHS and unit managers to implement education plans, train preceptors, and maintain thorough documentation of partner education per regulations.

Formación

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or RN program.
• Experience delivering patient, family and staff education is encouraged.
• Ability to teach clinical skills to staff using adult learning principles.
• Maintains clinical competency and engages in ongoing education.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate clinical competency assessments and training needs based on evaluation and patient needs.
• Provide education on varied topics focusing on clinical skills, critical thinking and interpersonal abilities.
• Participate in interviewing and selecting clinical staff.
• Complete initial and ongoing competency assessments during orientation and as needed.
• Oversee preceptor program and ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
• Communicate learning needs with unit managers and DHS for ongoing education plans.
