PruittHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse Educator to lead clinical competency efforts, develop educational programs, and oversee orientation and training for nursing staff. The role emphasizes adult learning principles, staff development, and quality improvement in a long-term care setting.

The educator will collaborate with DHS, coordinate preceptors, and maintain education documentation while promoting ongoing use of Pruitt University across the facility.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice.
• Experience educating patients, families and staff.
• Experience implementing policy-driven practices.
• Knowledge of safety and infection control practices.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate clinical competency assessment and training needs.
• Provide education on clinical skills and interpersonal development.
• Oversee orientation and competency assessments for staff.
• Develop and train preceptors using train-the-trainer approach.
• Conduct competency assessments based on patient acuity and needs.
• Coordinate with DHS on learning plans and actions.
• Maintain documentation of partner education per regulations.
• Serve as Pruitt University system administrator and promote usage.
