Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania license.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
• BCLS.
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience in an acute care setting.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire into position.
• Successful completion of applicable clearances within 90 days of commencing employment.
• Master Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and strong writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Raises the standards of nursing clinical practice to achieve quality patient outcomes by providing for the educational development of the nursing staff.
• Participates in the development of policies, procedures, standards of care, protocols and guidelines particularly in their specialty assignment.
