South Texas Health System Edinburg seeks an Educator to support staff and patient learning through orientation, continuing education, inservices and coaching. The role focuses on advancing technology, care delivery, and evidence-based practice while aligning with overall hospital education goals.
Ideal candidates hold a Texas RN license, a BSN (MSN preferred), and are prepared to obtain BLS/ACLS/PALS instructor certifications within required timelines.
Competenze
- Must demonstrate commitment to STHS Compliance Program and Code of Conduct with required trainings and reporting concerns.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current Texas RN licensure.
- BSN preferred; if not BSN, must enroll and complete BSN within 24 months;Bridge from ADN to MSN acceptable.
- Maintain BLS; obtain ACLS/PALS within specified timelines; pursue Instructor Trainer certifications per curriculum.
- BLSI/ACLSI/PALSI must be obtained within 24 months if required in unit.
Mansioni
- Support learning needs of staff and patients through orientation, continuing education, in-services, coaching and consulting.
- Provide opportunities for acquiring knowledge, skills and behaviors to advance technologies and care delivery.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to promote evidence-based practice and research involvement.
- Promote compliance with policies and Code of Conduct and assist in staff development initiatives.
